Arsenoi plate
Arsenoi handmade bowl from Volokas marble. The bowl has a matt finish and a small raised rim. The bowl is finished with an exceptional degree of craftsmanship, giving it a very luxurious and almost poetic look. A unique piece that can be used as a presentation bowl for jewellery, scented sticks, candles or snacks.
Volakas marble comes from a small village in northern Greece, known for its marble quarries and is a tribute to ancient Greek civilisation, especially the Acropolis and the Parthenon. White Volakas marble is a metamorphic rock formed from limestone deep in the earth under extreme heat and pressure. Along with the limestone, it also contains dolomite, giving it different colours and shades. Design by Greek architect Faye Tsakalides.
