Bloom is inspired by flower shapes and emphasises soft and organic forms in a collection of sculptural ceramic vases and bowls. Each piece of Bloom ceramic is elegantly designed and characterised by different petals blending into each other, reminiscent of the different stages of a flower, from closed to open. Bloom is an interpretation of floral-inspired design from the 1970s. But with a more raw and sleek expression. The fluidly curved surface is contrasted by strong underlying geometry and is enriched by a beautiful play of shadows around the depths of the surface. With its expressive design, Bloom vase changes its perception throughout the day, depending on the position of the light and shadows.
