Mud cloth pillow - rust
Mud cloth is a traditional textile handmade from cotton by the Malian people of West Africa. The fabric is dyed with fermented mud and vegetable dyes and finally painted by skilled artisans who paint symbolic images on the fabric.
Fabric and pillowcase are handmade and will have slight variations and imperfections. It is quite normal for mud cloth to have stains, discolourations, pattern variations and paint stains.... it is these 'imperfect' features that add personality to it and make it original and unique. The back is finished in black natural cotton with a zip closure. Dry clean only, do not wash.
Inner cushion included. Cotton inner cushion with a 90% duck feather and 10% down filling. The cotton fabric is down-proof and made without chemicals. All feathers are European and therefore meet all strict EU animal welfare requirements. No feathers are plucked from live birds. The cushions are Oeko-tex certified. Washable at 30°.
